Our approach
We aim to make Banamoji clear and usable for different ages, devices and needs. We use accessible design practices as a development goal. This statement is not a claim of certified or fully audited WCAG conformance. We welcome specific feedback and use it to improve the service.
Controls you can use
The app offers light, dark and system appearance, reduced motion, larger typing text, high contrast, an optional keyboard guide and visible finger guidance. Celebration sounds are optional. You can pause practice, exit focus view and repeat completed lessons. Untimed practice and a relaxed game setting are available where shown. English and Japanese display languages are selectable independently of the exercise text.
Known limitations
Typing requires text entry and some games involve moving targets, memory or time limits. These interactions may not work equally well with every assistive technology. Finger guidance follows conventional touch-typing assignments and may not suit every hand or input method. Japanese practice currently scores exact displayed romaji sequences, not complete IME conversion or alternate spellings. External retailers and sign-in providers control the accessibility of their own pages.
Tell us about a barrier
Use the contact details below to report an accessibility problem. Please include the page or feature, what you tried, what prevented you from continuing, and your browser or assistive technology if you wish. Do not send passwords, sensitive personal information or screenshots containing private data. We cannot promise a fixed repair time, but reports help us prioritize improvements.
