The rules for using Banamoji and what to expect from the service.

Scope and use
These terms apply to the Banamoji app, lessons, games, companion, shop and guides. Use the service in accordance with applicable law and these terms. Children should use it with appropriate adult supervision. Any optional sign-in must meet the identity provider’s terms and eligibility requirements. If you cannot agree to these terms, do not use the service.
Educational service
Banamoji offers typing practice for personal and educational use. Progress scores are practice feedback, not accredited qualifications or verified competitive results. Lessons and keyboard guidance are general learning aids. Japanese romaji lessons use the displayed alphabet sequences, not full IME or kana-conversion assessment. Hardware, browser and input method differences may affect results.
Accounts and stored progress
You are responsible for choosing appropriate nicknames and managing access to your device and optional account. Do not share credentials. Keep exported backups if your records matter to you. Local storage may be cleared by a browser, device change or private-browsing session. Signing out, stopping sync, deleting cloud data and deleting local data are different actions, described in the Privacy Policy.
Virtual rewards
Bananas, experience points, outfits and care supplies are in-app progress features. They cannot be purchased in Banamoji, redeemed for money or transferred for financial value. Their rules or availability may change as the app develops. The companion does not become ill or lose health because you take time away.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt unauthorized access, bypass account or owner protections, interfere with the service, submit malicious code, overload infrastructure, impersonate others, misuse personal information or infringe third-party rights. Do not upload confidential or sensitive information into nicknames or practice text. The operator may restrict cloud access or remove stored material when reasonably needed for security, misuse prevention or legal obligations.
Content and external purchases
Rights in the app and its content belong to their respective holders. Use content only as permitted by law or the relevant licence. Retailer and product links are provided for information and may be affiliate links. Banamoji does not take payment, sell or ship keyboards, hold retailer inventory, or handle retailer returns. A purchase is between you and the external seller under that seller’s conditions.
Availability and responsibilities
Features may change or pause for maintenance, security or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular learning outcome, perfect product information or recovery of lost progress. Take breaks and adjust your setup if typing is uncomfortable. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability that applicable consumer law makes mandatory.

Updates will be posted with a revised date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or agreement, that requirement still applies.
